Recommendations start with the operating model.

1. Define the job

We start with portfolio size, channels, team structure, guest communication, direct-booking ambitions, owner requirements and pricing needs. A tool is evaluated against that job rather than against a universal feature score.

2. Separate categories

A property-management system, channel manager, messaging tool and dynamic-pricing product may complement one another. We do not present a specialist product as a full replacement when it is not one.

3. Verify by market

Availability, currency, payment flows and local operating context can change the shortlist. Location pages link to official sources where regulation is discussed and record a review date.

4. Record limitations

Every recommendation should include a plausible reason not to choose it. Unverified pricing, integrations, claims and product details are omitted until they can be dated and evidenced.

5. Keep commercial relationships separate

An affiliate relationship may change how a link is tracked, but it does not determine a recommendation by itself. Products without an active relationship can still be recommended when they fit the brief.

MVP research status

The current site contains a rules-based selector and structured fit guides. It does not claim exhaustive hands-on certification. Before publication, each provider page should receive a dated evidence review, current screenshots where permitted, and direct verification of commercial terms.
